Ash appears to be slowly melting as the anticipation gets to him whilst waiting. A booming voice takes command of the panel: "Thank you Matilda! I'll take it from here!"
Kevin approaches Ash, arms as open and wide as his smile.
"Good evening Ash! Great to see you again! And early too!
Ash: G-Good evening sir!
Ash fumbles in his hand a rectangular piece of thin white card, gesturing as he explains.
Ash: It was either the early bus or being late? I'm lucky it even turned up knowing what it's usually like... but er.. yeah.
Kevin crosses his arm and nods solumnly.
Kevin: Hmmm. Yes. The buses around here cause problems that's for sure. But you managed to get in early today!
A small close of his crossed arms show him gripping his folded sleeves in frustration as he mutters under his breath: Not everyone did...
His beaming smile does not break as he unfolds his arms to present Ash with a wink and a thumbs up.
Kevin: So you have had a good start so far!
Kevin leads Ash towards the staff door by the welcome desk.
Kevin: Follow me, Ash! So how are you feeling about your first day?
Ash: erm well...
Ash is sweating nerviously and barely keeping it together.
Ash: I'm. ok! Just a little nervous!
Kevin: There's nothing to worry about this evening. Nothing can go wrong on your first shift!
