3-1
yes “that one” the perfect cake choice.
Fun fact: This is the 2021 redrawn version of Chapter 3! For anyone out there who would like to compare or read the 2019 version of the pages, I have slapped them all here!
The beauty of webcomics is that as I’m learning and improving I have the flexibility to go back and edit or change past elements that might not match what I’m making currently. This is one such chapter! I hope you all enjoy <3

Ash is moving through the motions putting on his new apon and washing his hands as he thinks to himsel
Ash: My first few shifts after the disastrous encounter with the random "Bag Lady" is the first time I'll be properly serving customers.
He begins to serve cakes: He first scoops a slice from the plate with a cake slice, slides it into a patisserie box, prices the cake using the touch screen scales, then gives the box to the customer.
A ta daaa rings across the panel as Ash shyly presents the box to the customer.
Ash: Is there anything else I can help you with?
The customer points directly at the gaps between the cakes at a non-descriptive place on the counter. You can't tell whether this was intentional or not but they do not specify what they want at all.
Ash looks coldly horrified as he does not know the names of the cakes, let alone when a customer does not specify verbally or clearly what they want.
Ash thinks to himself:
Though I find serving customers rather challenging!
