Oh hey I recognise this cutie! Well if it isn’t Diana from Court of Roses! A personal fav comic of mine that I highly recommend – and a member of the webcomic collective Spiderforest too!
Back when I drew the original version of this page back in 2018 (before a bunch of later tinkering) I hadn’t read CoR yet but now I have, I absolutely had to transform the random customer into Diana!
I like to think she’s doing the food shop for the Bard party (and the probable bard party too)
Anywho, I’m glad i redrew this page, it feels so much better to me now C:

A very kind looking black woman in a yellow dress cheerfully approaches Ash, who is putting a packet of something on the shelving.
The customer is a cameo from the webcomic Court of Roses.
Customer (Diana): Excuse me but where can I find cake decorations?
Ash has an idea, with a little light bulb accompanying his brain wave
Ash: This is the bakery bit so maybe-
Customer Diana: Well I looked around by the prepacked cakes but I couldn't find any there?
Ash looks completely confused as he draws a blank. His little lightbulb dims.
Ash: L-lets go have a look!
Ash's thoughts shout as he marches around the store, customer in tow, trying to find the items as he mutters to himself in confusion.
Ash's thoughts: There are no cake decorations in the cake section? Where would they be if not BY CAKES??
