Kevin looks over his shoulder and draws attention to the visible lack of CJ on the meat counter.
Kevin: Have you seen CJ?
Darrell tries to pull his best poker face but he's clearly trying to find a lie in his mind.
Darrell: CJ? Well she must have stepped away to - to- help someone! I'm sure she'll be back soon!
Kevin rests his cheek on his hand in a mock fed up expression.
Kevin: Hmm yes. I just wanted to talk to her about taking any over time.
He then transform from his flat mood to an explosion of smiles and stars.
"SPEAKING OF OVER TIME!"
Kevin: Are you able to take any extra hours? Outside of your college work, that is?
Darrell crosses his arms and his mood changes to neutral.
Darrell: Sorry but same answer as last time - no.
Ash peaks from the other end of the store by his counter, wondering to himself.
"I wonder what he came down for? Are we... in trouble?"
