He’s gone from boring evening shifts, to stubborn coworker to AAAAAAAAAAAAH
Exactly how I remembered feeling at the time when I moved into new sections.

Ash fidgets nervously. "So erm how are you?"
Verity looks at him with concern. "heeeey, you ok? you look a lil.... pale."
Ash looks on at the crowd, the face merging into blobs in his mind.
"I - er - well, I'v not been on deli before so it's all a bit.... much..."
Verity throws her hands to her face in shock. "Oh gosh, you're new! Like, really new! He TOLD me you'd been on deli before but..."
She lowers her height a little to match Ash's eye level, appearing calm and caring. "Would you be ok to help me with some things whilst I serve? I can deal with the slicer and carving requests from the queue, so if yoy feel up to it you could try cutting some of the cheeses for this queue here? Weighing, wrapping, it's the same as patisserie."
Her cheese wire slices through a block of cheese. "It's pretty much just pullin the wire back to cut a block to the size the customer wants!"
Ash looks pensive. "I-I can ty that!"
verity beams supportively. "That would be great! Although, I gotta tell you first..."
