Neat and tidy, easy to find display or a completely overfilled, bursting at the seems display? However, if it’s gotta all go, then… does it matter if it’s neat or just “gone”?

Ash pulls a cage into view of Flori and the patisserie counter.
“Got a cage for you Flori. There’s a few things running out of date by the way, so we figured we’d bring it down.
Flori remarks, visibly not helping Ash with the cage.
Oh lovely, I did need some Victoria sponges - but you didn’t have to bring all of this down.”
Ash rests on the counter.
“We didn’t want to it get, erm.. Forgotten? Upstairs? As there was a lot of, er…n-not to suggest you would forget to check it but erm-”
Flori gives Ash a sharp look and frown at the suggestion.
Ash’s thoughts spike with “Ah, maybe forgotten wasn’t the word!”

Ahs points to the counter display, which has most things out, but some leeway for more to be put out behind the front goods.
“We thought it may as well go out anyway?”
Flori remarks “I already have the lines out on display, hence why they were upstairs to begin with.”
Ash points to the gaps. “But surely you can fill the gaps with the extras? It’ll be the same display date?”
Flor stands firm, not looking at his suggestions. “And I still don’t have room, so you can send it to the chiller and it can come down later.”
Ash, behind Flori, is tensing his hands and looking frustrated. His thoughts cry ”I don’t know how to make her understand!”
