Verity appears in the doorway space between deli and patisserie. "Oh, did I just hear Damian?"
Ash stop mid yell to face her. "o-oh yeah you just missed him! He's taking my cage away."
Verity looks politely at Ash. "Oh drat! I was hoping to grab him for a sec! Oh well. Whilst I am here, I just wanted to check up on you. I feel things may have been... a lot for you today..."
Ash looks at the quiet shop floor space, which only has one customer down the aisle. "Oh hey yeah, I'm good. Calmed down now. The customers that is."
Verity sweets says "It all goes back to normal quickly enough."
She claps her hands together and address Ash. "Khara and I thought that before we go home, I could cover patisserie for a bit so Khara can go over working on deli with you. But a lot more calmr this time! If you are feeling up for that? We can try and find another day if you-"
Ash expression beams. "Yeah! Let's go for it now!"
Verity asks "If you are sure? It's ok if you need time."
Ash enthusiastically makes his way to the next counter. "It's now or never!"
His thoughts read "Yeah, I'm definitely up for feeling like I know what's going on!"
