Sneaky in joke and cameo from A.P.O.C!
It’d be pretty wild if APOC and HNAR were in the same universe ’cause Trigger (From Ghost Junk Sickness) is also a cameo in APOC so that implies a share universe… Damnsons has to put up with the fact that one of the four horsemen and someone else supernatural are shoplifting from them… AND deal with the hassle of dealing with some bounty hunter leaving their spaceship parked in the disabled spot ALSO shoplifting from them… but ALSO that eldritch horrors from outer space could also be making deals with their staff members on the side. Dang. Safe to say that Ash did not get mind controlled or was on the checkouts so this isn’t canon, but human versions of the APOC cast do shoplift there lmao

Damian tenses up, then shoots Ash a look.
"Oh yeah, he didn't have the thought to let anyone know that, so there'd be someone to cover him! so I'm here now."
Ash interjects; "That's unfair. I-I'm pretty sure he said that he mentioned it to Kevin. You make it sound like he chose to not come in on purpose. I'd like to think none of us would be late or whatever just to spite you or something!"
Damian ignores them, then sternly looks at Ash. "Wait weren't you meant to be in at four PM?"
Ash looks confused. "Kevin told me it was five PM as usual until my hours change next week."
Damian looks astounded as Ash looks uncomfortable.
"And you believed him?!"
"He is our manager so was I... not supposed to?"
