CJ quietly slides into her spot behind the meat counter, after image and fake fire scortch lines following her. To the right, Kevin is still talking at a very displeased Darrell.
Kevin: How's it going for you at college anyway? Any plans to stay here after you finish? ha ha
CJ casually leans on the counter side as she attempts to act natural as if she was barely away from the counter.
Darrel catches on and points to her, exclaiming "There! She's back" yet the sentiment "Go pester her instead" lingers in his expression.
Kevin addresses a very stelly-faced CJ.
Kevin: Ah! There you are! Evening! I only wanted to ask you: can you do any overtime for-
CJ immediately and vigerously shakes her head. NOPE.
Kevin raises an eyebrow questioningly.
CJ: I've got an... appointment! Yeah.
CJ puts her hands on her hips defiantly but Kevin's expression falls as he just does not believe her unconvincing delivery.
