Damian moves aside his fringe. "I was warned... siiiigh... I was warned when I first agreed to train as a team leader that there were gonna be days like this. I don't think it's exclusive to you. She certainly doesn't listen to me either."

Ash looks confused. "I wanna give her the benefit of the doubt and say she's probably had a bad day? but I don't know..."
Damian slouches again, deeply sighing. "siiiigh.... yeah well, she's not the only one."
he turns to leave, pointing away from the section. "aah, we'd best leave her to it. You good?"
Ash stammers, imagining Damian as a little angel in his mind. "Y-yeah. Thanks, Damian." Damian leaves.

Ash stops to look at the cage full of Patisserie counter goods in boxes. He thinks "Leave her to it? Well, Verity and Khara are back on Deli now so... I could stay and help out with this cage so it gets done today..."
the words WHICH IS THE MORE UNCOMFORTABLE PLACE THAT I NEED TO AVOID?

Ash puts his closed fist in his open hand with an ssured "pap" as he decides "I'd be more useful here than to Deli! Maybe she'll warm up to me giving her a hand without being prompted?"
the words "PEOPLE PLEASING!" appear behind Ash.
