And there’s the end of chapter 5!
Redrawn over the first half of 2024 to improve on my ideas from 2019 – it was a nice challenge to revisit what I wanted to say and show versus how I want to flesh out my characters now. Just creative things!

Ash joyfully makes his way towards the deli counter through the parting entrance way.
Verity giggles cheerfully. "Have fun!"
As soon as he is gone, her expression drops to neutral and she washes her hands.
She looks over the patisserie counter which is full of reduced labels and bursting with various cakes.
Verity kneels down to the back cupboards, opens it, and frowns at the storage filled with boxes of products.
"Oh Flori... when will you listen....?"
