Tolerably messy is lovely in a way but maybe not so much in a work environment

The tall male coworker is on the other counter to Ash.
"I know when i started a bunch who couldn’t handle thirty seconds unsupervised so I'm pretty sure five minutes is a record."
He smiles dryly and raises too thumbs up. "Good job."
Ash freaks out. "THAT WAS ONLY FIVE MINUTES?"
Verity leans across and blocks off the other coworker.
"Ignore him! Five minutes! Ten minutes! You did FINE! A little mess is normal around here!! Verity winks, as the coworker looks irritated behind her as he mutters "no it's not!"
Verity then looks to the mess behind her as the others were unloading boxes. "To a degree, of course."
Khara smirks. "Please clean up after yourself.We can't have too many messy pups around here or some of us won't be happy."
Verity looks heavenly apologetic. "I like to thin kI am tolerably messy!"
Khara chuckles. "ha ha yes you are."
(The back counter is wrecked too, now full of boxes and cheeses)
Khara: Hmmm, a few of these cheeses are mislabelled but - you wouldn’t have known which is which.,I’ll re-wrap them now.
Ash: O-oh sorry.
Khara: Please, don’t worry at all.
For now, we’ll do some clean up, re-stock and then Verity and I will show you a lot more of the counters and whatnots now we are past the lunch time rush, ok?
Ash: Oh yes please! I’d really appreciate that!
