Darrell, holding a hand full of diced meat, smirks. "I had to try something to get his attention or we'd never get an answer!
Damian mutters quietly "I was going to decide" as Darrel continues to Cj "How would you get his attention then? Throw it at him?"
CJ somewhat explodes "I am NOT throwing bits of dead animal around! What do you take me for?"
Damian slides in quietly with a tmid "Please don't ever do that." and Darrell offhandly remarks "But cheese is fine?" Referring to chapter 3 where CJ threw cheese at him.
Cj ignores him and looks casually at her phone. "So what's the problem here?"
Darrel says "He can't makle a decision whether or not to buy cheap meat."
CJ acknowledges him. She then looks back to Darrell. "Over a simple yes or no answer?"
Darrel smirks. "yep." Damian looks away sheepishly. "yeah it sounds bad when you put it that way but..."
CJ scowls at him. "Damian, are you gonna die from buying any?" Damian states no, so she continues to suggest "then just buy some and be done with it."
Darrell looks to him once again. "If you don't want any, it's fine, I just - i do need to clean these tubs sooner rather than later." CJ erupts with "OH I AM NOT going to be late home over this."
Damian looks defeated. "Alright, fine. I'll take a couple kilos." Darrell cheers with a "yes! Finally!"
